Professionalism & Expertise
Gail: Gail is our Office Manager and brings 35+ years of experience with her in the dental field. Gail has an A.S. degree in dental assisting and dental office management. She has worked in a variety of dental specialties, from general dentistry to periodontics, prosthodontics and presently oral surgery. The latter being her favorite. She loves surgery and also worked as a surgical assistant in another oral surgery practice. Her prior experience as a surgical assistant gives her a comprehensive understanding of our patient’s questions and concerns. She regards this broad spectrum of both administrative and clinical exposure to benefit both herself and our patients.
Susan: Susan joined our practice in 2014. She is our Front Office Coordinator. Susan brings with her 30 plus years of experience both clinical and managerial. Recently specializing in orthodontics and prosthodontics, Susan possesses both an attention to detail combined with a calm and soft spoken demeanor patients and fellow team members value. On weekends she can be found cycling with friends up and down the coast. Her favorite ride: being dropped off in Laguna and riding home. She loves movies, theatre, music and art. She also enjoys spending time in Santa Fe soaking up the culture and incredible food. We are very fortunate to have Susan as part of our team.
Kathy: Kathy is our administrative assistant/Implant Coordinator. With over 30 years of administrative and clerical experience in both Periodontics and General Dentistry, Kathy is a “jack of all trades”, and has been an amazing addition to our office. Born and raised in Chicago, Kathy attended Southern Illinois University to achieve a degree in Dental Laboratory Technology. With her upbeat yet nurturing personality, she is able to form true genuine connections with all of our patients.
Adriana: Adriana is our new Implant Treatment Coordinator. She worked closely with our former coordinator for over 4 years and gained tremendous hands-on experience from an expert! She is a certified OMSA, has her x-ray license and CPR certification. Adriana is a great team leader, has excellent communication skills and rapport with our patients. She is an essential component to a cohesive and seamless front office and surgical suite. Danée: Danée is a certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant and part of our highly-trained back office surgical team. She has an A.S. in Fire Technology and is also a certified E.M.T. Danée started working in oral surgery in 2016 in the Bay Area and then moved to southern California in 2020. She strives to make our patients feel at ease, comfortable, and self-assured that they are in the hands of experienced and trusted clinicians through heartfelt empathy. Danée is always upbeat, happy, and genuine in her connections with both team members and patients.
Jessica: Jessica is our front office/surgical assistant. Born and raised in San Diego, Jessica got her start in oral surgery 7 years ago as a part-time sterile technician while attending Cal-State San Marcos. After a year of accelerating in her position, Jessica moved up to be an assistant. Since then she has obtained her x-ray license as well as her OMSA certification. Having both front and back office experience, Jessica is invaluable to our practice. She has a friendly, caring, and jovial demeanor that allows her to connect with our patients and make them laugh.
Jocelyn: Jocelyn is our new Front Desk Administrator. She is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. Starting at a young age, Jocelyn was first introduced to oral & maxillofacial surgery as a patient herself. Over the course of many years waiting for the completion of growth, and preparation for her own dental implant, Jocelyn developed a great rapport with this oral surgery practice. She was eventually recruited to accept a front office position in the practice. Her personal experience has given Jocelyn excellent insight into what a patient is feeling and what they can expect. She worked in the same practice for 5 years before moving to the west coast. Jocelyn loves helping patients, especially when it comes to gaining the confidence of having a great smile! In her free time, Jocelyn loves concerts, cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her family.
